🧭 Navigation and Structure

General Platform Structure​

fAIr Platform is organized into main sections that vary according to your user role.

👤 For Regular Users​

Standard users have access to two main sections:

  • 🏠 Dashboard: Main panel with statistics and metrics of your files
  • 📁 Files: Management of your multimedia files (audio, image, video, text)

👨‍💼 For Administrators​

Administrators have access to:

  • 🏠 Dashboard: Panel with global system metrics and all users
  • 👥 Users: User account and permissions management

🖥️ Top Navigation Bar (Header)​

The top bar contains several key elements:

Left Side​

  • "gradiant" Logo: Platform logo (decorative)
  • Navigation tabs:
    • For users: Dashboard | Files
    • For admins: Dashboard | Users
Main Navigation

The tabs in the header are the primary way to navigate between sections on large screens.

Right Side​

  • 🚩 Language selector: Current language flag (e.g. 🇺🇸 for English, 🇪🇸 for Spanish)
    • Click to open the menu of available languages
    • The flag changes according to the selected language
  • 👤 Avatar and email: User icon + your email address
    • Click to open the user menu
    • Option: Sign Out
User Profile

The user menu only allows you to sign out. There are no account configuration options.

📱 Mobile Navigation​

On small screens, the interface adapts:

  • Hamburger button (☰): Appears in the top left corner
  • Navigation tabs are hidden
  • Click the hamburger button to open the side menu with options:
    • Dashboard
    • Files (or Users for admins)
Responsiveness

The platform automatically adapts to your screen size for a better user experience.

🔍 File Search​

The search functionality is not in the main header. To search for files:

  1. Go to the Files section
  2. Use the filters available on that page:
    • Created: Filter by date range
    • Format: Filter by file type (All, Audio, Image, Video, Text)
    • In the administrator view there's also a User filter

🎨 Visual Indicators​

  • Active section: The current tab is highlighted in the header
  • Visible email: Your email is always visible next to the avatar to identify your session
  • Language flag: Indicates the currently selected language
