Dashboard and Statistics

Dashboard Overview​

The Dashboard is your main control center where you can view statistics, metrics, and analytics of your activity on the fAIr Platform.

Accessing the Dashboard​

  • Regular Users: Personal dashboard with your statistics
  • Administrators: Global dashboard with metrics for all users

To access:

  1. Log in to the platform
  2. The Dashboard is the first view that appears
  3. Also accessible from the menu: 🏠 Dashboard

Main Components​

Bar Chart: Time Evolution​

Displays file activity over time:

Information Displayed:​

  • X-axis: Timeline (days, weeks, months)

  • Y-axis: Number of files processed

  • Bars: Height represents the volume of activity

  • Colors:

  • Default: Total files

  • Detailed Mode: By action type (Detection, Protection, Traceability)

Interaction:​

  • Zoom: Drag to zoom in on a specific period
  • Tooltip: Hover over a bar to View details
  • Reset: Double-click to return to full view

Pie Chart: AI vs. Human Distribution​

View the proportion of content:

Segments:​

  • πŸ€– AI: Content detected as generated by artificial intelligence
  • πŸ‘€ Human: Content identified as created by humans

Data displayed:​

  • Percentage of each category
  • Absolute number of files
  • Tooltip with details on hover

Percentages are calculated based on detection results. Unanalyzed files are not included.

Summary Cards​

Condensed information at the top:

Total Files​

  • Total number of files in your account
  • Icon: πŸ“

Analyses Performed​

  • Number of detections performed
  • Icon: πŸ”

Protected Files​

  • Number of files with protection applied
  • Icon: πŸ”’

Certificates Generated​

  • Number of traceability certificates issued
  • Icon: πŸ“‹

Available Filters​

Date Range​

Filter data by time period:

Manual Selection:​

  1. Click on "Date from"
  2. Select the start date on the calendar
  3. Click on "Date to"
  4. Select the end date
  5. The charts will update automatically

Quick Access:​

  • Today: Activity for the current day
  • This week: Last 7 days
  • This month: Current month
  • Last quarter: Last 3 months
  • This year: Current year
  • All time: Since your account opened

For detailed analysis, use shorter periods. For general trends, use longer periods.

File Type​

Filter by content format:

  • βœ… All: Includes all formats
  • 🎡 Audio: Audio files only
  • πŸ–ΌοΈ Image: Images only
  • πŸŽ₯ Video: Videos only
  • πŸ“„ Text: Text documents and PDFs only

Selection:

  1. Click the type selector
  2. Check/uncheck the desired types
  3. The charts will update in real time

Display Mode​

Toggle between views:

Simple Mode (default)​

  • Shows grand totals
  • Bar chart with total files
  • Cleaner and easier to understand

Detailed Mode​

  • Separates by action type

  • Bar chart with colored segments:

  • πŸ” Green: Detections

  • πŸ”’ Blue: Protections

  • πŸ“‹ Orange: Traceability

  • More information, ideal for in-depth analysis

To change:

  1. Check/uncheck the "More details" checkbox
  2. The charts will automatically rearrange

Chart Interaction​

Bar Chart​

Time Navigation:​

  • Horizontal Scroll: Use the mouse wheel over the chart
  • Drag: Drag to move through time
  • Zoom: Select an area by dragging to zoom in
  • Reset: Reset button to return to full view

Display Options:​

  • Legend: Click on legend elements to hide/show series
  • Export: Download the chart as a PNG image
  • Data: View underlying data table

Pie Chart​

Interaction:​

  • Hover: Highlights the segment and displays a tooltip
  • Click: (If enabled) Filters to that specific segment
  • Legend: Click to hide/show categories

Tooltip Information:​

  • Category Name
  • Number of Files
  • Percentage of Total

Report Generation​

Exporting Dashboard Data​

To obtain the data in a downloadable format:

  1. Click the "Generate Report" button

  2. Select the format:

  • PDF: Visual document with charts

  • CSV: Tabular data for Excel/analysis

  • JSON: Structured data for processing

  1. The report will be downloaded automatically

Report Content​

The report includes:

Summary Section:​

  • Analyzed Period
  • Overall Totals
  • Main Trends

Charts:​

  • Screenshots of the charts
  • High resolution for printing

Data tables:​

  • Day-by-day data
  • Breakdown by file type
  • Breakdown by action type

Metadata:​

  • Report generation date
  • Applied filters
  • User information
Periodic reports

Administrators can configure automatic reports sent by email weekly or monthly.

Administrator Dashboard​

Administrators have access to additional metrics:

Global Statistics​

  • Total Users: Users registered in the system
  • Active Users: Users who have recently logged in
  • Storage Used: Total space used
  • Processing: System capacity and usage

User Graphs​

  • New Registrations: Users registered by period
  • Activity by User: Ranking of most active users
  • Geographic Distribution: Map of locations (if enabled)

System Performance​

  • Average Processing Time: By analysis type
  • Processing Queue: Pending jobs
  • Success Rate: Percentage of successful operations
  • Errors: System error log

Administrative Actions from the Dashboard​

  • View User Details: Click on the user graph
  • **Manage Capacity: Adjust system resources
  • Review alerts: System notifications
  • Export global data: Platform-wide reports

Data update​

Update frequency​

  • Real-time data: Summary cards update automatically
  • Charts: Update every 30 seconds
  • Complex statistics: Calculated every 5 minutes

Force update​

To manually update:

  1. Click the refresh icon πŸ”„
  2. The data will reload immediately

If you have just performed an action, it may take a few seconds to be reflected on the dashboard.

Dashboard Customization​

Configure Widgets​

(If enabled for your account)

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Dashboard
  2. Select which widgets to display:
  • Summary Cards

  • Bar Chart

  • Pie Chart

  • Recent Files Table

  • Recent Activity

  1. Drag to reorder
  2. Save changes

Display Preferences​

Configure:

  • Theme: Light or Dark
  • Chart Language: Labels in Spanish/English
  • Date Format: DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY
  • Currency: For usage statistics (if applicable)

Data Interpretation​

Indicators of Healthy Usage:

  • ↗️ Steady increase in processed files
  • βœ… High detection rate Completed
  • πŸ”’ Increased use of protection
  • πŸ“Š Diversity of file types

Alerts or anomalies​

Situations to review:

  • πŸ“‰ Abrupt drop in activity
  • ⚠️ High error rate

  • πŸ“Š Extreme imbalance in AI/Human distribution

Comparing Periods​

To analyze changes:

  1. Select a date range (e.g., this month)
  2. Note the main metrics
  3. Change the range to another period (e.g., last month)
  4. Compare the values

Some key indicators to compare:

  • Percentage change in processed files
  • Changes in AI vs. Human distribution
  • Evolution in protection usage
  • Trend in certificate generation

Usage Tips​

  1. Review the dashboard regularly to detect trends
  2. Use filters for specific analyses
  3. Export reports before significant changes
  4. Detailed mode for in-depth analysis
  5. Simple mode for a quick overview
  6. Compare periods to understand trends
  7. Set up automatic reports if available

Troubleshooting​

Charts not loading​

Possible causes:

  • Slow internet connection
  • Too much data Processing
  • Temporary server error

Solution:

  • Refresh the page
  • Reduce the date range
  • Try again in a few minutes

Inconsistent data​

If the numbers don't match:

  1. Check the applied filters
  2. Consider the update delay (30 seconds)
  3. Force a manual refresh
  4. If the problem persists, report it to support

Graphics look incorrect​

For display problems:

  • Adjust the browser zoom
  • Resize the window
  • Try a different browser
  • Check your screen resolution
